Subject:     Exportation of finished products

-          Pursuant to the report of Minister of Industry and Commerce to the Prime Minister–Deputy Prime Ministers dated 20-21 June 2016.
-          Pursuant to Meeting Minutes of Prime Minister – Deputy Prime Ministers No. 04/PM, dated 24 June 2016;

Prime Minister’s Office has the honor to inform you that:

  1. It is agreed to re-inspect codes for veneer and peel veneer residual in the factories for export. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry shall coordinate with relevant authorities to check the contract and record quantity of each type of wood that are still in stock at the factories in detail and clearly prior to request for export approval, and the export is only allowed within the remaining quantity.  In the future, it should be processed domestically.

  2. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce is assigned to re-check codes of finished wood products to be in line with Decree 15/PM in order to facilitate wood factories that could meet standards and market’s demand for export.

  3. For the plantation woods, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce must coordinate with Ministry of Agriculture and relevant authorities to consider in more detail (at present it is not allowed for exporting).

  4. The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Ministry of Agriculture are responsible for coordinating with relevant parties to inspect and record woods remained in Field II nationwide  to identify  quantity, and type of the remaining wood before summarizing and reporting to the government for further bidding in accordance with the regulations.
