Notification

 

To: Provincial, Vientiane Capital Division of Industry and Commerce.
Subject: Moving timbers within the country.

 

- According to the Decision on the organization and activities of the Department of Internal Trade, No.1753/DIT, dated 19 September 2016.

     

In facilitating the doing business and preventing an impact on business operations in the movement of domestic goods (such as laminated wood products, semi-finished wood, and finished wood), while waiting for the revision legislation of the movement of goods within the country, from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

 

The Department of Internal Trade would like to inform as follows:

1.  Moving goods within the country such as laminated wood products, semi-finished wood, and finished wood should include the following documents:

- Invoice

- Packing List

- Certificate A.5 (by the industry and commerce sector)

- Timber movement certificate (for agriculture and forestry)

- Invoices for value-added tax and fees (by the financial sector)

2.  If the documents are completed and correct according to Clause 1 above that means the business can move wood products within the country.

Please be informed and implemented accordingly.
