Notification

To: Relevant sectors and local authorities at various levels

Subject: The postponement on enterprise registration and investment issuance or a business permission according to the order of the Prime Minister in improving regulations and coordination mechanisms for conducting business in the Lao PDR, No.02/PM, dated 01 February 2018.

 

In preparing readiness and conditions for the promulgation of the control account and ensuring that business registration, investment issuance or business operation permits are followed the Order No. 02/PM. In addition, regarding to the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Industry and Commerce Office informs the relevant parties and requests cooperation in implementing the following:

 

1. Postponing enterprise registration, investment issuance or business operation permits according to the Order, No. 02/PM from 01 September 2018 to be 01 January 2019 as indicated in the notification, No. 1578/CO.ERM, dated 27 June 2018.

 

2. Relevant departments that provide service for enterprise registration must practice the same as in the past with faster service from now until 01 January 2019.
- The relevant departments and Ministries are requested to improve or create legislation regarding the consideration of issuing business licenses, as well as recommendations regarding the division of management and procedures for issuing licenses (The Ministry of Industry’s Departments recommendation models of will be available soon).
- The Provincial Industry and Commerce must report to the supervisor in preparing the implementation regarding to the Prime Minister’s Order on the enterprise registration and issuance license. If there is any problem, the province must consult with Enterprise Registration and Management Department, Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

 

This Notification is seeking for all cooperation to implement together.
