Notification

 

To: Head of relevant divisions of the Department of Customs Department, Customs Administration Division, Customs Inspection Division, and Provincial Customs Border Checkpoints across the country.

 

Subject: duties-tax exemption import forms.

 

  • Pursuant to Customs Law No. 04/NA, dated 20 December 2011.
  • Pursuant to the Decision of the Ministry of Finance on the organization and operation of the Customs Department, No. 2826/MOF, dated 22 August 2018.
  • Pursuant to the Decision of the Customs Department on the duties of the divisions in the Customs Administration Division, the units in the Provincial Customs Inspection Division and the border customs unit, No. 01179/MOF, dated 15 March 2018.
  • Pursuant to the Instruction of the Department of Customs on the management of the import of materials, machinery, vehicles, fuel, and others imported into the regime of exemption, suspension of taxes, or reduced taxes, No. 02518/DC, dated 21/05/2018.

 

The Department of Customs informs the heads of the relevant departments, the Customs Administration Division, the Provincial Customs Inspection Division, and the border customs checkpoints across the country about the revision of the import duties-tax exemption license form into import duties-tax exemption tracking sheets as follows:

 

1.  The Department of Customs has replaced the import duties-tax exemption form with an import duties-tax exemption tracking sheet.

2.  The import duties-tax exemption tracking sheet aims to be uniform in collecting commodity statistics, goods that are exempted, or reduced tax before tax declaration in detail at the import checkpoint.

3.  The sheet to be implemented from 1 June 2018 onwards.

4.  If there are any difficulties in the implementation, a report should inform the Department of Customs to find a solution in accordance with laws and regulations.

5.  This notification is effective from the date of signing.
