Notification

To:   Head of Planning and Information Division;

         Head of Tax Administration Division I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII.

Subject: implementing ASYCUDA.

  • Pursuant to the Customs Law, No.04/NA dated 20 December 2011 and the Customs Law (Amended), No.57/NA dated 24 August 2014;
  • Pursuant to the Decision of the Minister of Finance on the organization and operation of the Department of Customs, No. 2826/MOF, dated 22 August 2017;
  • Pursuant to the Decision of the Department of Customs on the management of the use of tax declaration licenses through the ASYCUDA, No. 02539/DC, dated 21 May 2018.

In ensuring to streamline the management, the process of licensing tax returns, and the implementation efficiency.

The Director-General of the Department of Customs issued the notification:

  1. The Planning and Information Division and the Tax Administration Division I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII assign the Divisional Committee, the Tax Administration Division, the Division, and the Technical Officer to be responsible for the issuance of the tax declaration card through the ASYCUDA and to be submitted to the Department of Customs before 15 June 2018;
  2. The Planning and Information Division and Tax Administration Division I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII to inform individuals, legal entities, and public and international organizations of the Department of Customs’ decision on the tax declaration card through the ASYCUDA, No. 02539/DC, dated 21 May 2018;
  3. A training will be organized in Vientiane Capital by the end of June 2018, which will invite the committee in charge of issuing tax declaration licenses from the Department of Planning and Information and Customs Administration Division I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII.
  4. This notification is effective from the date of signing.
