Notification

To: Directors of import and export vehicle companies.

Subject: Lao National Single Window (LNSW) has been started for issuing import and export permits for vehicles

- Under the Approval of the Lao National Single Window, No.0204/MOF, dated 15 January 2019

 

The Department of Import and Export (DIMEX) is pleased to inform you that in implementing the government's policies to improve the business environment, thus, DIMEX is going to issue import and export licenses for vehicles through Lao National Single Window (LNSW) www.laonsw.net from 25 February 2019 onward. Therefore, companies importing and exporting vehicles are urged to apply to the Customs Department for a code to use the system by completing the Appendix Form 2 of the Instruction on the Utilization of Lao National Single Window No.4217/MOF, dated 28 December 2018.

 

At the beginning of the system, the company can continue to apply for the previous import license (paper license) until the notification to use the system completely.

Therefore, we would like to inform you of your reference and implementation.
