Notification

To: All individuals or investors (domestics and foreigners) who have registered to set up an enterprise in Lao PDR

Subject: Sealing enterprise.

  • Pursuant to the Law on Enterprises (amendment 2013);
  • Pursuant to the Order, No. 02 / PM on the revision of regulations and coordination mechanisms for doing business in the Lao PDR, dated 1 February 2018;
  • Pursuant to the Notification, No. 1659/MOPS, subject: Guidelines on the Seal of the Ministry of Public Security, dated 23 September 2019.

 

   In facilitating the business start-up environment to be convenient and agile, the Cabinet Office, Ministry of Industry and Commerce is pleased to inform all individuals or investors (domestics and foreigners) who have registered to set up an enterprise in Lao PDR and implement the following:

  1. Enterprises can apply for an enterprise registration to apply for a security seal as specified in Article 21 (amendment) of the Law on Enterprises - 2013;
  2. The enterprise shall receive the approval license within five working days from the date on which the enterprise submits the enterprise registration to apply for the seal stamp;
  3. This Notification replaces Notification No. 1412/MOIC.ERMD dated 12 July 2019, Subject: Voluntary or non-compulsory seal of enterprises.

 

Therefore, this notification is for your reference and implementation.
