To: Import and export business units across the country

Subject: Temporary suspension of import licenses for all types of electric vehicles for general use

 

  • Pursuant to the Notification of the Department of Transportation, No. 03092/DOT, dated 10 February 2020.
  • According to the minutes of the meeting of the Department of Transportation on 21 February 2020.

 

The Department of Import and Export (DIMEX) is pleased to inform you that to manage the import of all types of electric vehicles in accordance with regional and international regulations, ensure safety standards for consumers. Therefore, on 2 March 2020 onwards, the Department of Import and Export will suspend the import of all types of electric vehicles for general use (according to the notification of the Department of Transportation No.03092/DT, dated 10 February 2020) until the completion regulation of the Department of Transport.

 

Therefore, we would like to inform you for your reference and implementation.
