Notification

 

To: - President of the Lao Automotive Industry Association.

       - Companies that import and export vehicles.

Subject: In using Lao National Single Window (LNSW) to manage the import and export of vehicles at Boten International Customs Checkpoint, Luang Namtha Province.

 

  • According to the notification of the Ministry of Finance regarding the use of the Lao National Single Window system to manage the import-export of all kinds of goods at the Boten International Customs Checkpoint, No. 1167/CO, dated 12 May 2022.

 

The Department of Import and Export (DIMEX), Ministry of Industry and Commerce would like to inform you that: in accordance with the notification of the Ministry of Finance, No. 1167/CO, dated 12 May 2022, DIMEX will consider issuing import licenses by applying the Lao National Single Window (LNSW) for vehicles import through the Boten International Customs Checkpoint in Luang Namtha Province that will be effective from 23 May 2022 onwards. Any vehicle imports and export company that has not yet registered to use the LNSW system should register as soon as possible by contacting the Joint Development Company Limited at mobile phone numbers 020 59829365 and 020 28145652 to receive training and register for the system's user code. An application form can be downloaded at WWW.laonsw.net or WWW.laotradeportal.gov.la. For imports through other international customs, the paper system can be continued until further notice.

 

Please be informed and implemented accordingly.
