Government of Laos issued Decree on Fertilizer, No.123/GoV, dated 20 May 2026. The decree sets out principles, regulations and measures for the management and monitoring of fertilizer work to make such work efficient and effective, aiming to ensure that fertilizers meet standards, quality and are safe for people, animals, plants, property, the environment and society, provide fertilizers for crop production as food and as commodities, and can be linked to the region and the international community, contributing to the socio-economic development of the nation in a green and sustainable direction.

10 Imported fertilizers must be properly stored.
